I don't know how effective this will be long-term, especially as this platform is pretty adamant about having everyone on the new subscription model of "everyone is charged on the anniversary of the day they sign up" rather than the "charged during the first week of the new month". Ugh, I don't want to have to raise my prices to counterbalance a larger chomp of fees from a third party... barely getting by as is.
But yeah... there you go; those are the facts as I understand them presently. At least it's big enough now that news outlets are covering it.

Hi, friends, ๐ค just dropping by once in a blue moon. Saw this post was open to comment on publicly, and wanted to leave my brief surface-level thoughts. Well, I've never been aware of, let alone utilized, an app to begin with, and I have always used the web version of Patreon (though, frankly, this is the only Patreon account I've ever found worth subscribing to on a paid tier). This is the beginning of the end game for corporate empowerment to control content. I'm pretty sure beast-men content will be outside the Overton window of social acceptability and steamrolled over eventually. Such a tragedy; if only there were some way to have avoided all this mess. (Apologies for the wall of text, but Gboard (default keyboard) for Android doesn't have the ability to hit shift return for a new line.)
