Update 44

I've been lacking motivation to work on entity texture due to how annoying it is to make them, so there's not a lot of progress in this update. Hence I've made the 128x/256x mobs pack available to all tiers. Next month's progress will probably be lacking too depending on my motivation, I will be taking some time off here and there.

I'll start working on the new blocks/items in 1.19 when it fully releases and has optifine and shaders working properly.


Made the horse legs slightly thinner so they're more realistic, but I can't drastically change anything since the horse armor model can't be modified. The saddle and rein model are also slightly changed.

The "basic" pack need to be loaded at the bottom (just above default pack), and the optional packs can be loaded on top in any order.


The texture resolution for "basic", "addon", and "bonus" pack need to match each other for pathtracing to work properly, but you can use whatever res you like for the "items" and "models" pack.

The extra grass in the "models" pack works best with SEUS PTGI HRR and "Smooth Lighting" option disabled, or shaders with labPBR SSS texture compatibilities. Otherwise I don't recommend using it.

Please check the included "features list" text file inside each optional pack to see detail descriptions of what they add, or how to remove unwanted features in the "models" pack.

!! Don't try the 256x versions unless you have >48GB of RAM+VRAM !!


Make sure these settings are set correctly, or else the textures will get messed up:


Optionally could download the block properties file included in the download link and use it to overwrite the same file inside SEUS PTGI shaderpack.
The file adds several fixes, and makes ore crystals glow if you enable "glowing redstone block" or makes the bonus pack scifi panels glow if you enable "glowing emerald block" in the shader options.

What features does bedrock need to add to make your pack work? I see a lot of high resolution texture packs on bedrock edition. None to my taste, personally, but they do exist.

i can't download any files from mediafire. when i try i get the following text "Insufficient Bandwidth - The user you are downloading from has run out of bandwidth or does not have a premium account. This resource pack is designed for SEUS PTGI shaders, not iris shaders.

I had to switch from 128 to 64 when I went back to BSL shaders. I'm getting around 30fps, but my machine is quite under-powered compared to your posted specs. (32gb RAM and an RTX card which is likely "2000" less than yours -- can't remember exactly offhand.)

The shaders are going to be your wildcard here. There are sooo many options that can affect performance, no matter what texture/resource packs you're using. I would first see what kind of performance you get with Minecraft's built-in shaders. If you're getting 60fps using the 128x resolution Patrix then it's time to pull the shaders back in and mess with settings: resolution, anti-aliasing, shadows, volumetric clouds, normal/specular maps, post-processing (e.g., motion blur)... it's a mind-boggling array of settings that can all negatively affect performance.

Hey Patrix, I am having trouble getting frames. I have a 3090 graphics card, 10900K i9, 64gb of ram so I should be able to run it smoothly but I am only getting up to 30 frames. Anything you or anyone else can suggest?

Your mobs are phenomenal and make everything else you've done so much better. If you lack motivation, think about the low res mobs walking all over your beautiful textures and defiling the scene.

What do you mean with „lacking motivation“? The horse and the horse-armor looks insane. I love the small but consistent updates, better that no updates? After finishing all the entity textures, are you going to focus on partical and effects by any chance?
