Smol Update 26

- added all netherite tool textures

Updated to 1.16.2 format, but you can still use it with 1.15/1.16

Renamed the pack due to popular demand, and to reduce confusion on branding

I've also divided the pack+addon pack into 5 packs for easier customization:

The texture resolution for basic, addon, and bonus pack need to match each other for pathtracing to work properly, but you can use whatever you like for the items and models pack.

Please check the included "features list" text file inside each extra pack to see detail descriptions of what they add, and for the models pack on how to remove unwanted features.


The models pack mostly contains custom models that depends heavily on personal preference, like stone stalactites, 3d ore crystals, the new extra grass and small bushes...etc. Recommended to use SEUS PTGI HRR with "Smooth Lighting" option disabled if you're using the new extra grass and random small bushes.

Added back banner/shield patterns temporarily, they're still bugged in current 1.15/1.16 optifine/shader, and gradient patterns don't work properly.

Make sure these settings are set correctly, or else the textures will get messed up:


Optionally could download the block properties file included in the download link and use it to overwrite the same file inside SEUS PTGI shaderpack.
The file adds several fixes, and makes ore crystals glow if you enable "glowing redstone block" or makes the bonus pack scifi panels glow if you enable "glowing emerald block" in the shader options.

That's just a side effect of the temporal frame accumulation/aliasing of the seus ptgi shader, unfortunately there's no real fix for it currently.

I downloaded this version and tried running it on 1.16.1 and am using the ptgi seus textures but for some reason there is a shaking of textured mobs and my hand as I move. It looks as if it has almost a slight after image. I checked my frame rate and it was about 80/45. I doubled checked my settings and they seemed in line with what you recommended. Any advice on how to fix this?

Works if you disabled connected textures but we lose some mecanics... I check to add 32gb of memory and to get more than 32Gb as advised

I have a 5 gHz AMD CPU, 32 GB RAM, and an RTX 2080ti nVidia card. The 256 rez shaders cause my machine to choke, making the game nearly unplayable. Going to 128x128. And yes, I tweaked the RAM settings in MC.

Tbh I'm not sure either because from user feedback the ram usage varies A LOT. You could try not allocating that much ram to minecraft in the launcher settings tho, because since 1.13 the game automatically uses extra memory for storing textures, so you only need around 2~3gb of ram allocated.

Yesss, after 1000$ in upgrades to my PC I can run this really well! IT'S SO FRIGGING BEAUTIFUL. Went from 10 fps to 60 fps, GPU at 100% though. I had read somewhere this wasn't very AMD friendly but so far so good. :)

are the crystalls of redstone diamonds and co supposed to not glow (i saw them glowing in one screenshot here but they dont glow for me). In short the crystalls of diamonds emerald and redstone arent glowing like shown in the 1.15.2 preview anything im missing (im playing with seus ptgi)

The flickering sea lantern is a random texture that has 1/8th of chance to appear. You would probably need to edit the ctm texture yourself to remove it. Judging by how you're seeing the purpur stairs look different from other purpur blocks, I'm guessing you're using the "bonus" pack without reading this post or the description. That pack has extra textures that doesn't fit vanilla gameplay. There are no version of glass block that has connected border yet, you would need to use another pack that has it to overlay ontop of my pack to change it.

Would it be possible to get a version of the sea lamps that don't flicker on, and off? The purpur stairs seem very out of place for the other purpur blocks. Is this intentional? It seems like it fits more in blackstone, or netherbrick. Is there a version of the glass that doesn't have a block-border?

I literally bought a 32gb stick of ram and my pc still cant run the 256, how much ram do i need to run this? I've got a 2080

Just install them like any other resourcepacks which you can find plenty of tutorials online, the only requirement is the "basic" pack has to be loaded at the bottom of the resourcepack load list.

I love this texture pack, but I also love Bioms o' Plenty, is there any possibility that you maybe create a texture pack that is for Bioms o' Plenty? Because I asked the mod developer if he can implement to be able to disable bioms and so on that add new blocks and stuff, but he said, that he would never do this, so asking you is my only hope.

Mob texture is at the very bottom of my to-do list, because it's extremely hard to make realistic mob textures with accurate normal/specular mapping Personally I'm using the mob textures from "LB Photo Realism" and "Conquest" as placeholder for survival gameplay

I'm having an issue where it takes forever to load the main menu and then freezes my pc for a while before loading, but entering the game after that is quick and fine, would you have any idea why?

i took all of the one twenty eight ones and slapped them in but nothing and trying to combine them will only replace files inside them so how in the heavens name do one make it work

Thanks, but I can't change the birch leaf colors because I want them to match vanilla leaves. And the red part of fires helps with blending the edge of fire into background, since minecraft doesn't support partial transparency for fire.

Technically you can combine all the packs into a single pack after you downloaded them, then you just have to load one pack afterwards

You can make the weight of the grass model higher in the grass.json file in "assets\minecraft\blockstates"

Your textures are amazing!!!! Best texture pack for MC, hands down! If I were to critique a couple of small things, it would be the colour of birch leaves and fire. I would love to see a reddish or golden birch leaf and a more amber, less red fire colour. Very pleased with your work!

Also a question do you plan on doing all of the mobs eventually? just wondering because I feel like the mobs arent done don't fit and I don't know another texture pack that would fit the style you have done with the rest
