Mascot Update: Your ideas (small character stories in the description)

Hey everyone,

While there is still a few days left to vote on what kind of mascot I should create for myself, I think it's safe to say that the dragon girl fans are winning in an overwhelming success. I'm honestly actually kinda surprised that the fox girl isn't that voted, but then again some of you mentioned that they're pretty common and I gotta agree on that.

Despite all I still present elves as a contender and will create both a Dragon girl and Elf girl design as mascot, with the Dragon being the true face of the site and the elf girl is her little mischievous helper. Or I dunno. I'll have to evaluate the character dynamics.

Another vote on the mascot design later! ^^

*Ahem* anyway,

Up above I did a few experiments to see how some of your Ideas would look and also penned up a short story for them.

I know that the first pic isn't truly a Satyr, but I can't help but love tattooed people <3

Satyr (recommended by Taz):

Pyros is a Satyr who lives around in the dark forest. You could hear local legends about an elusive creature, that helps out the ones who get lost on the forest. Some say it's a woman with the legs of a goat, but with a torso of bewitching beauty.

However there are also legends of her in the other end of the spectrum. Those who tried to seek her out with a purpose, got pranked by the said creature. Due to this, some swear it's the devil herself.

About her: Pyros was originally part of a tribe, but she either got separated from them or lost them. Now she lives alone in the forest.

While she is a kind soul, she likes to keep to herself and values the uninterrupted sounds of the forest. She is very territorial and doesn't like people who deliberately trample inside her marked area.

For hobbies, she loves to tend to flowers. She has an exotic collection of them in her makeshift home, which is a cave outfitted and reinforced with stolen wooden planks, branches and some wool.

In very rare occasions however she does in fact accepts visitors, only a select few who are kindred spirits to her.

Lamia (recommended by FucInBoots):

Eri is a Lamia who lives alone near a lake.

Originally she was only a simple snake, who got cursed by a wizard and got turned into a Lamia out of pettiness, when she bit said wizard.

Unable to speak and understand social interactions, she prowled the forest, hunting stags.

Eventually she prowled over the campsite of a simple elf. The elf instead of scaring her away, tried to make contact with the snake like woman. One thing led to another they became friends.

With her newfound brain, Eri began learning the common language and tool usage. She learned about concepts like emotions, friendship, love. She became ever curious about the world and traveled it with her friend and eventually that friendship blossomed into something far more.

Due to her odd background, she is one of a kind and some people would love to study her, so she will certainly run into troubles in her life, but nothing she wouldn't overcome

About her: An ever curious snake, she is interested in everything that exists and wants to understand the world. She isn't perfect as she has a habit of not understanding the personal boundaries of others. (She tries her best though and never did anything worse than coiling around a few people)

Robot/Android girl (recommended by Kingspoint):

M.I.R.A. Military-Intelligence-and-Reconnaissance Android.

Mira was originally created by humans to explore deep space and fight of any potential hostile creatures. She was the core artificial intelligence of Humanity's flagship, titled only 'The Cruiser'

After the First Voyage, she was forcefully retired as more advanced models had come out while she was out exploring space. However her lead programmer salvaged her core and implanted it in a 'Utility Assistance' frame and granted her free will.

Nowadays instead of deep space, she tries to explore her own humanity.

About her: Despite her origins, she never truly enjoyed combat, but will fight of any threat if necessary with extreme prejudice.

Her body is very adaptable, meaning she can install upgrades and other body parts, granted if she can make them. With the help of her creator, they designed her things like taste and touch receptors, so she can feel what a normal human does.

As an experiment she had created more exotic upgrades like different lower bodies, extra arms, claws, other types of ears etc.

Right now their main goal is to create an artificial human skin for her, so she doesn't have to hide her identity, as 'Utility Assistance' bots are way less advanced and due to this are not capable of free will.

I did try to write a short novel half a year ago about a Lamia with the same starting plot. Never released it though since my writing was eh... sloppy to say the least. Maybe once I'll start to rewrite it. Basically this short story is that, just even more simplified. It looked like this: The whole story began the same with the snake and the wizard. The first meeting between the elf and the Lamia was more explained. Basically the Lamia was hungry and smelled something good. The elf (Lyra) was outside her camp picking berries, when she came back to the Lamia trying to steal her stew, even though her new human hands were hurt because of the overly hot fire. After a day of basically watching each other from the distance, Lyra let her close out of curiosity. At first they could barely communicate anything obviously. The most the Lamia understood was that if she hunts down bigger animals, Lyra could cook it. Eventually, the Lamia started picking up a few words, then Lyra began teaching her how to speak. Also she named her "Snakey", as she was not good with names. I did try to explore her snake nature given her new body, as it's way bigger and heavier. Like one night, she tried to slither up to a tree to sleep there, only for the branch to break down under her. As she learns basic human speech and context she was finally introduced to Lyra's small village. There I did write out some small scenes as how clumsy she was in more tight spaces with her enormously long body and a tavern scene, where she could surprisingly drink everyone under the table... only for the drinks to hit her all at once and just fall like a log. This is still a very simplified version compared to what I wrote back then, but somewhat sums it up. It wanted to be an adorable cute story not necessarily an erotic one, although I was thinking of putting a cute romance between the protags.

Lamia could give some awesome and adorable situations where she doesnt understand certain human social conventions
