1 Year Anniversary - My dumb sob story, short and long term plans, and upcoming comics.

Hey everyone!

First of all, thank you to each and every one of you who supported me during this past year. It really really means a lot to me! <3

A bit personal stuff:

Today marks the day when I decided to turn my life around a year ago. I was bouncing between terribly exhausting jobs and dead end jobs at the chemical industry. I tried a few companies going from factories to smaller laboratories, but never really felt at home in this field. Not to talk about how much people are underpaid at most companies where i live...

I was thinking in a way out for month and years as I was not really good at anything. School was pretty much out of option as most universities I'm interested in are paid only here and I have a loan to pay back to the bank, not to talk about the bills.

But I knew I was good at one thing. Fantasizing.

"Yes that's it, fantasizing" - thought to myself as I was thinking, how could I use it. In what way?

So fast forward a bit, I figured, I could make comics with Ai, to try myself at least to some degree in terms of story writing and if people interested, start a Patreon.

And the results were... not so great. Look at 'Elven Goddess', which started out from a few captioned images with terrible resolution, to a terribly directionless comic or '(Un)Real Dreams', where I had a direction in the start, but quickly abandoned it.

Still writing and comic making is just as a skill as anything else and persistence is the key. Fast forward again, -almost a year later-, I made 'The Time I Fell In Love With My Neighbour' which is a HUUUUGE improvement from where I started. I am really proud how the two chapters turned out, even though I still have many many ways to improve.

I'm going to be honest here and tell you that I get so jealous when I'm looking at the works of other content creators such as G-U-C and Adrian_ and can't help, but admire the quality they put forward compared to mine. (please go check them out, their stuff is amazing).

Explaining the comic delays:

After a year and several dozens of burnouts later, I'm still here, doing comics for myself and for you and I couldn't be happier. Even though I delay every one of my comics, because I usually burn myself out way too frequently or just can't find the time to sit down and continue making them. But why do I burn myself out? Well you see, I still have a full-time job to do and a family buisness to help out at. I know these are no excuses, but it really can get tiring after a year.

I even have to delay the anniversary comic to either tomorrow or after tomorrow... shocker I know...

BUUUUUT

Finally I make juuuust enough from making comics, that I'm finally able to ditch the full time job and commit myself to making comics full time! Of course I won't ditch it instantly as I still need some extra money, to invest in a few new stuff I need for my future plans.

And now that we are here let's talk about the short and long term plans:

Alright, thank you very much for reading my little sob story and...

Again! many thanks to every one of you who supported me during this past year. You are all amazing! <3

Now it's time to do some comic announcements

Yesterday I asked you that, if you'd like to see a third and final chapter of 'The Time I fell in Love With My Neighbour' and due to the overwhelmingly positive poll, I'm happy to say that it's gonna happen... not yet of course!

(The cover art is WIP and is subject to change, just wanted to give you an idea what it'll be about)

***

After a year together Ashley and Ashley finally decided to get married and now they are planning their honeymoon. Of course before everything, younger Ashley needs to face her new step 'kids' who are just a few short years younger than her. (No... it's not gonna be like that if you expect that! Ashley is committed to Ashley and to her only).

How will their wedding go? And what will happen on their honeymoon? Why didn't I address the plot line where Younger Ashley checked out that butler in the second part? Find out on chapter 3!

*******************

Slimy Accident's. I think a lot of you know me by the Slime girl content I started making around October.

I put this story on the shelf for an awful long time partly, because I felt that I lost the story's direction and partly because the changes Nai made I couldn't get hold of the characters like the way I wanted to.

But the final two chapters are finally happening after 2 rewrites I finally figured how to end the story. After the anniversary comic, this one is my main focus!

After Lisa and her Girlfriend fused together, they want to find a method how to undo it. In their way, they meet a suspicious blonde haired woman on the way. It's Rena, one of Lisa's dates and the true protagonist of the Slimy Accident's series. What does she want from them? Find out in the first part of the Finale.

I'm not gonna share more about this comic as it'll come out hopefully at most in a week.

This one... this one comic is certainly strange and will not come out for a while. A Doll's Life is pretty much a passion project of mine as it's gonna be a culmination of my writing skills, but will feature way less spicy content.

The idea for the whole comic came from almost nowhere one night, when I was preparing for the next day. I quickly sat down and written down enough story for a 3 part series.

I'm going to share the first 6 WIP pages in a moment.

Other projects:

The other projects I haven't talked about are the projects I don't have enough to share with you yet, but I'll let you know every project I'm working on right now.

The titles are all working titles and won't reflect the true title!

The Anniversary comic... It was supposed to come out today, but as usual I wasn't able to finish it time... bummer...

Anyway thank you for listening to my pep talk!

I do hope you'll continue to enjoy my content and hopefully next year will be even better than this year!

Many Love, take care of yourselves and drink lots of water as the weather is finally warming up!

Sorry for the late response. That would actually be an awesome idea. I think it should be feasible, but really need to check in with other content creators, if they'd be okay with a shared site.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to create a website with other content creators ? You could all mutualize and share fixed costs and even make ads for the colleagues. That way you would advertise each other and divide the costs of the website. I'm not sure if it's feasible with the Patreon integration and different point of views and graphic style (design is a really personnal choice after all).

Hey, Thank you for the kind words! ^^ Honestly. I had to do at least a shout out. I've been trying to put your name into my recommendations for a while, but Patreon never finds your name for whatever reason. Also I still admire the quality and effort you put into the editing into your stories. I remember when you released Blooming Allergies. That comic of yours was THE comic, that motivated me, to 'up my quality' in terms of editing. I'd give you the advice to don't stress it too much, but I know it's not that easy. And even though I'm somewhat older, I can barely handle it. Oh boy I remember, when my page first started blowing up around early November. I was checking the subs and unsubs in literally every 5 minutes and I was barely able to get any sleep because of it. >.<" Well I kind of use Stable Diffusion, although I got stuck on Novel Ai as it's honestly just way more convenient for me. My laptop gpu and old pc gpu can't properly handle Image Gen. I might and should check out canvas, as I'm currently on the good good Photoshop that just love to crash into my face every two hours. Again thank you for the kind words and I hope you'll be able to overcome the stress that comes with being a content creator besides doing Uni. Also read that your finals are coming, so I wish you the best!

Hey, thanks for the unexpected shout out. Don't worry, you're doing really great actually. You don't have to be jealous about It xd. I gotta say I put way too much effort and time for doing these AI Contents that I constantly stress myself out. Sometime being simple is a good thing too. For me at least, because I'm only 19 and still studying at university, which I should not be stressing this much at my age. But hey, like I said you're doing better than ever. Honeslty speaking, you're actually much better than me lol. But of course there is always room for improvement for everyone, including myself! I don't know what software or tool you use for Image generation. I believe It is Stable Diffusion just like I use. But for doing the layout and texts, I personally used Canva as It is very easy and simple.
