How to generate the most Creative Ideas (even if you're not creative)

Do you feel like you are not creative and don't know how to come up with original ideas?

Let me tell you something.

You don't have to be creative to come up with creative ideas. Creativity doesn't exist...

You just need this one trick.

Great ideas come from one simple process:

✅ Combining old ideas in new ways.

Let me prove it to you. ⬇️

I made this Love Potion a year ago. It might seem like an original idea, but it isn't...

Here's the truth, I didn't come up with anything:

❌ I didn't come up with with the shape of the bottle.
❌ I didn't come up with the heart shaped cork.
❌ I didn't come up with the color palette.

Here's what I did:

✅ I combined already existing ideas to generate a new one.

So how does this work?

Here's the 3 step process:

1. ABSORB
Stay open-minded in your everyday life. Fill your brain with diverse concepts. Follow artists with all kinds of styles. Subscribe to my newsletter to discover a new artist from Instagram every week, and get some extra tips and tricks too.

2. SAVE INTERESTING IDEAS
Save ideas even if they are unrelated. They don't have to be artworks only, anything can be an interesting idea e.g. weapon, product, clothing etc. Use Pinterest.

3. FIND UNEXPECTED CONNECTIONS
Ask, how can I mix these. What happens if I apply this style to that concept. That's where innovation happens.

You can see that:

Creativity isn't about originality, it's about recombination.

You don't need to wait for inspiration

You don't need to wait for new ideas to pop into your head.

And remember, with practice you'll get better at generating new ideas.
