I remember a lot of people asking for context about this story on Twitter.

When I was 15 I was a camp councilor for kids 12-13. There was one girl who was attending the camp who was also 15 who didn't speak to anyone and would just sit on her phone all day. The camp had strict rules about devices, so I had caught her sneaking her phone and went up and asked her about it. I looked over at her phone and she had been messaging some dude on KIK.

Seeing what was in the messages, I told the head of the camp about it. After speaking to the other councilors, they all said this particular girl's mom had threatened to sue the camp if we took her kid's phone. Even after we informed her of what her child was doing. The year prior, police had gotten involved and wouldn't do anything. I was extremely worried about her, but I'm not sure if anything ever happened.
