Even from a purely self-serving perspective, it's dumb as hell to not just enjoy the friendship. Not like she might know other women and/or vouch for you to them or anything. Not like a woman isn't the literal best wingman because she shows you aren't a total baby who can't emotionally withstand the implication that you can't get everything you want.
