Added 2021-09-23 05:41:18 +0000 UTCTrials in Tainted Space received a new update! This one is public, but never fear, I'm giving you guys some ultra high resolution art of some of the new busts so you have a little something special all to yourselves - and art of both genders at that!
I highly recommend reading the full post on fenoxo.com - it includes a ton of discussion about why development has been slowed and what steps I've taken to address my own blocks as well as rally the team to push harder once more. There are also a lot of development screenshots of the javascript build's options menu and a preview of what sort of look to expect in the new level up screen that will coming with the new engine.

Great - exactly what I had hoped! And in the spirit of "sometimes it's the things you didn't say": I would suggest having the game strongly urge the player to save game before committing to "The End", so that they can continue if and when more content is inserted.

2021-09-27 18:57:36 +0000 UTCYeah, part of the idea is that we can do this, and take a lot of pressure off, and then continue to slide in planets before it as much as we want - so long as we bump the numbers on the last area's enemies up to adapt for the additional content and XP.

Will you have the idea that you can still add more planets and probes before the end? - in other words, that the "end" today may not be the end in a year's time, or will it truly be The End, and any other content is just expanding on The Middle?
