[Announcement] The Curve Control - Part 2

Hi everyone!

Next week, we're continuing with Part 2 of The Curve Control. Mei is finally starting to realize what's probably happened to her, and after conducting some highly scientific experiments on her body (naturally only to confirm her theory and definitely not driven by any deep, hidden desires), she begins to intentionally use the remote control to shape her body — and possibly takes things a little too far…

If all goes well, we should all be able to see how Mei's story continues by mid to late next week!

Tasty Temptation – Part 4

Okay! Let's quickly talk about Part 4 of Tasty Temptation.

First of all: Thank you so much for all your comments here on Patreon and on my website - I really appreciate every single one, but of course even more so when they're positive hahaha. I'm honestly thrilled that you enjoyed the comic so much! <3

I actually don't have too much to say about this comic, because for once (aside from a few exceptions), I didn't experiment with anything fundamentally new. Instead, I focused on refining and better integrating techniques and elements I'd already been using. So once again, you'll see a lot of the things I've introduced in recent announcement posts: more variation in speech bubble shapes, greater emphasis on certain words by making them larger than the rest, stylized text to convey emotion or sound effects, scenes with two characters interacting simultaneously, and so on and so forth...

Okay, I hope that wasn't too much all at once haha. But since we're already familiar with all of that (at least those of you who regularly read these posts - and if you're not in that group, then you're probably not reading this right now anyway ^^), I thought I'd keep it short and instead focus on a few other aspects. If you're interested in any of the elements I just mentioned in passing, feel free to check out the previous announcement posts - I discussed each element in more detail when they were first introduced.

Let's move on to a few things that are more specific to this comic instead (though like I said, they're rather small details - so don't expect too much haha). For one, our protagonists are wet in quite a few scenes (and I don't mean that kind of wet - I mean literally wet ^^), meaning you can see water droplets on their bodies. It obviously fits quite well on pages like Page 06, where Evelyn literally pours the protein shake over herself. But I'm not sure if it looks as good on other pages - like Page 08, where Emma gets filled up with the shake. Sure, it fits contextually, and it makes sense that she's wet since she probably "spilled" some of it - but... I don't know, I think it looks kind of weird. Or maybe not. Honestly, my opinion changes from day to day, so I'm really not sure what to make of it. So please feel free to let me know how it came across to you. Did it feel fitting, or was it more distracting?

The next point is something I've been playing around with for a while now: In my opinion, no good expansion comic is complete without the protagonist's clothing eventually falling victim to her new proportions and tearing apart. I've obviously done this plenty of times before, but I don't think it ever turned out quite as well as it did here. Previously, those scenes were usually like: "Okay, the clothing is a bit torn... next panel, it's gone." But sometimes (not always), I'd really like to show the process of the tearing in more detail - because that can actually look pretty sexy. On Page 09, you can see my first attempts at this, where the clothing rips progressively across several panels and it gets "worse" each time. I'm also trying to make the tears themselves a bit more complex and interesting. Up until now, we'd usually just have some random exposed skin peeking through. But this time, for example, we have Emma's torn panties on Page 09, where her private parts are peeking out - or Page 17, where Callie's nipples burst through her top.

I know I already mentioned the stylized text earlier in my rapid-fire list, but there's one particular spot I want to highlight: Page 17. This is where, for the first time, I took chunks of text out of the speech bubbles and used them as floating text elements instead. I think this works especially well in scenes where the girls are already basking in pure bliss and are super horny - it really makes the dialogue pop. I definitely want to do more of this in the future, possibly using different effects. I've got plenty of ideas up my sleeve!

And just to show you that I'm not just patting myself on the back here - let's end on a bit of a downer (which is obviously a terrible strategic move, because the last thing you read is usually what sticks with you the most, but hey... I never claimed to be a marketing genius haha). The one part of this comic I'm genuinely unhappy with is the final page - not Page 19, where we get some yuri action between Vera and Callie (that one's totally fine and actually quite sexy if I do say so myself) - but the actual closing page, Page 20. Same problem as with the title page: 4 characters in one image is just too much for Stable Diffusion (or maybe I'm just not good enough at it yet :( ). I won't point out every single spot where I think the image looks a little off - because maybe you didn't even notice, I can always hope for that haha - but if you did think the page looked a bit weird: yeah, I know. I'll try to do better next time ^^. Multi-character scenes - meaning two or more characters in one frame - are definitely something I want to keep experimenting with until I hopefully get the hang of it.
