Manual or Auto Focus Lenses
Added 2024-04-15 11:14:39 +0000 UTCTo make my photography more of a film like experience I moved to manual lenses on my Fuji Camera, while m Nikon continues to remain on AF Lenses.
The manual focus lenses provide a very different softness to the photographs as against the tack sharp focus on an AF lens,
However, all this month and next I am going to be attending a cultural festival which is firstly very crowded for me to afford the calm of a manual focus, secondly the action is usually fast and in late evening for me to focus correctly, I also intend to make more videos for this too. So have been thinking if I should buy an AF lens for my Fuji , cos on Fuji I can switch stills to videos quickly and more flexibility for choosing scene vibes.
However, then the need for equipment never ceases if I were to give in for every desire :) the new Fuji already warrants a very expensive cross body replacement as the earlier one would not fit this body and a lens.
While it is fun, too much gear will bog me down.
