Today I bring you a new monster : Biollante
Is a genetically modified kaiju rose hybrid that first appeared in the Godzilla vs. Biollante by Toho Godzilla 1989
Biollante is Godzilla's first rival in the Heisei series, and the first large Godzilla monster to be derived from plants rather than animals or machines. Biollante was born from Dr. Genichiro Shiragami's process of grafting Godzilla cells into a rose that he grafted his dead daughter's cells into, causing it to mutate at a rapid rate and become a rose. The giant flower monster with the consciousness of Shiragami's daughter still inside of it. Biollante originally took the form of a giant rose rooted in Lake Ashi, where she confronted Godzilla and was defeated. However, Biollante later returned in her larger and more deadly Plant Monster Form and attacked Godzilla at Wakasa Bay in a fierce battle where both monsters were mortally wounded and forced to withdraw.
