2023-12-13 14:40:58 +0000 UTCOMG, we've got so much in common it seems, cause I too love art and drawing, being artistic (hence my profile pic, I drew that), it's my passion. I've been doing this since I was little and I find it very therapeutic and it especially helped me cope while I was growing up with having been bullied growing up (it was pretty bad; nit-picking, name-calling, being laughed at, even had homophobic slurs hurled at me) and that's my comfort zone, that was when I was my most happy. It's something that I'm wanting to get back into now cause I haven't drawn anything in over a year and I miss it a great deal and it'll help me cope now with having lost both of my parents as come January it'll be a year for both of them. In addition to having a passion for drawing, I also love to write as well; creative stories where my creative mind takes me. I've written fun-filled stories in the past and it was just a mere hobby, just to pass the time. I've also did some journaling from time to time as well and what I'm actually in the process of writing my first book, it's basically detailing my having been bullied growing up and how I struggled to overcome it (already gave it the perfect title: "THEN and NOW: My story of Being Bullied and My struggles to Let Go") and I believe that in writing this book, it will hopefully help someone who's struggling to cope with bullying by sharing my personal experiences but more-so helping me put the final seal on that chapter of my life and finally be to put all of that in the past and leave it there. There's so many things that I too want to get back into but the drawing and writing are like my top two priorities.
