Don't know if it's been mentioned before, but the cartoon opening credits were drawn by Gerald Scarfe who also drew cartoons for many newspapers as well as Pink Floyd's The Wall.

2025-10-28 22:04:20 +0000 UTCGreat reaction as always KB, as others have said yes I believe all but one ends with ‘yes, minister’ - pleased to see you’re interest is still peaked with this series and totally agree so much still relevant today even though the internet wasn’t invented as Pat just said - crazy! Working in local government myself I can say that it has been squeezed considerably since 2010 and is nowhere near as wasteful but I am sure there’s always efficiency to be made (or so I’m told!)
