That Ana Frango Eletrico track was so great! I love this playful new direction for her, the funk disco (fusing with her usual jazz vibe). Anthony shone a spotlight on it (when it came out in 2019), but I still feel "Little Electric Chicken Heart" is a half forgotten jazz pop masterpiece. It's one of those sweet, sexy, fun records where I wonder aloud "how can anyone possibly dislike this?". I spin this record all the time, I'm always in the mood for it, I never get tired of it! New Mitski, Toro y Moi and Hemlocke Springs are fire too. Edit: Tick Tick Boom is a better ending song than Click Click Boom, hands down, what a jam.

2023-08-28 04:15:08 +0000 UTCHope Anthony feels better. We're thankful he streamed in those circumstances. Had covid last year and felt scarily bad for about three days before I slowly mended. Felt like I had a piece of glass in my throat, found it hard to swallow, and slept more than I was awake (never been so tired). Hopefully Anthony is relatively asymptomatic. It might be a good distraction, I kept busy when I had covid too to take my mind off it. Thanks again for streaming, you're a trooper Anthony! (Edit: thanks for shouting out earlier in the day streams for European viewers, but can you please (Austen) announce this on the patreon page? Normal stream time is 3 am in Western Europe so would be nice to catch a stream and get a decent night's sleep. A slightly earlier stream time about once a month I think would be a nice gesture towards his EU fans.)
