I few weeks back I was traveling back home from LA and I had to take a connection flight from LAX to IAH. Everything seemed to be going perfectly I got to my seat, asked for my seat belt extender and patiently waited for the plane to took off. Since it was a 3 hour flight I had only one seat. (for my longer flight i had two seats). As the plane was about to take off, I was asked by a flight assistant to talk to her and the politely tell me I need to get off the plane and purchase another seat cause half my body was out in the aisle and apparently it is a safty hazard. I had no other option to get off and purchase another seat.

I had mixed feelings about the whole situation. kinda frustrating but kinda hot at the same time. and obviously lesson learned if i travel alone i need two seats. lol
