Vine was not β€œBetter than Tiktok”. People often try to claim that the era of Vine back when it was a thing was better than what Tiktok is today in terms of content. However, people completely like to ignore that Vine had some awful content as well, I mean it was literally the platform that people like Logan Paul got their start.

An overlooked component of Kendrick Lamar’s brilliance is how the narrative of one of his songs/albums is enhanced in the context of the rest of his discography. For example, the vivid depictions of his upbringing and Compton overall in GKMC make the survivors guilt experienced during TPAB so much more palpable. This is what makes the shedding of his saviour complex/role on Mr Morale such a watershed and impactful moment, as he was embracing said role for his whole career. We’ve truly been fortunate to see such a rich, layered and emotional portrait of this artist spanning across many bodies of work

If an artist lacks instrumental/production skills, do you think it has potential hinder their music? If so, do you find that even with the most talented voice, it is essential to learn an instrument? Regardless of the plentiful behind the scene professionals, do you think there is a chance of disconnect or lost potential within the music?
