Agreed. I enjoy the plausibility in the narrative so far. The transformation of the relationship with the protagonist's wife should be taken slowly as the marriage is brought into line with Queen Isles's laws and customs. How about a “chains of paper” element where the marriage has to conform to local standards of being “female lead” to be valid under local laws and allow for Kalie to be permanently made his Governesses-wife? He is under some pressure after all: If he isn't Kalie’s househusband-ward he is likely to become a live-in housemaid under Lydia sleeping in an iron cell in the basement. Making him politely ask for Kalie to be his mistress-wife and pledge to honor and obey her as expected of males in Queens Island should be easy. Part of complying with various requirements for the existing marriage to be recognized as female-led and thus legal could be signing all property over to Kalie. As a journalist perhaps he could file some articles about he has traveled to Queens Island because he wants to experience a Gynocratic relationship – under responsible supervision of course. After all - both of them disappearing could cause complications

That's why I also appreciated how you didn't rush anything with the fiancee for example, but are taking your time to "transform" their relation. Bye, keep up the good work ;)
