August Development Progress Report
Added 2024-08-20 10:27:46 +0000 UTCDuring the past month, our primary focus has been on developing the story mode content.
All cutscenes are nearing completion, and voice actors are currently recording dialogue for the new content.
HungerBug and Predator are largely complete, but their AI will require further refinement in testing.
Human AI is more advanced than zombie AI. They respond to actions, display anxiety upon witnessing death, and call for help when in danger. Defeated humans transform into zombies.
The story mode is still under development, with ongoing adjustments to corridors and rooms. Additional puzzles, secret rooms, and a bathroom will be added.
There is still much to be done:
Once voice acting is finished, character emotions and lip sync need to be added to the cutscenes
New outfits
Game testing and bug fixing
New main menu scene and animation
New clothing change animation
New hairstyles
Production of promotional materials
Improvement of the module mechanism, adjustment of clothing packages
Addition of music and sound effects
New voice recording card content
Considering the current progress, we have decided to adjust the release date to October 9th. This date should be feasible.
We have also registered for the Scream Festival at the end of October, and will update the version with new challenge map and costumes by then.

"Black Myth: Wukong" has officially released today. I haven't had a chance to play it yet as I still have work to finish. Have you played it? How is it? π

It is an excellent job they are doing... it is a safe purchase for me. They have nothing to envy of the great survival games not to mention the attractiveness of the protagonist, although to be honest, more than a reporter she seems like a professional agent due to the stealth attacks and how she points the gun at the same time as holding the flashlight. What I have played so far is the best... thank you for your effort and dedication that will be rewarded in the future.

2024-09-09 03:19:54 +0000 UTCIt wasn't very obvious, but there was a "capture" sound, like something was being recorded every time you flipped the dice. If you didn't overlook the sound, surely you would have got it. There'll be more puzzles, so don't overlook any detail :-).

The game feels incredible even if not finished, I've just recently discovered it but I must say it is astonishingly fun to play even if the content is not completely ready. I said I looked up the answer online (youtube/guides explain the methodology), but two people later posted and said: 'I think you just need 4 clean throws' and ' the sum of each dice roll and do that 4 times'. Itβs like telling people that I had trouble working a coffee machine for days and that I eventually found out how, but people then tell me how to do it again. Wtf?

When I first played through the game, there was this staircase leading to the top floor with a locked weapon's room. I was looking for a key card or some passcode in a computer throughout the entire game, but couldn't find it. After I finished the game, [spoilers] I saw people's gameplay and saw the passcode was in the christmas picture opposite the locked door. You don't expect people to just know this as well as expect people to pick up on the idea that almost all the locked goods have the answer nearby hidden in some picture.

2024-08-21 15:05:20 +0000 UTCI think you just need 4 clean throws. That becomes the keypad code. I had a hard time with the puzzle gating the sub-machine gun. Once you know the trick it's pretty easy but, I had a hard time knowing the trick as well.

2024-08-20 13:00:03 +0000 UTCI thought I'd comment on the puzzles since there's no mention of changes. [Compared to RE2] I liked RE2 because it has a variety and made sense, but they were too easy. In TKA, they made less sense, was really difficult, and felt like not a lot of thought was put into realism. I've played a lot of games with puzzles, but TKA's dice puzzle was infuriating. I had a pen and paper ready and jotted down all the numbers since I didn't want any help. 2 hours later, I gave up and looked up the answer online.
