Post-Processing

One new very requested feature is finally possible on the Horde: Post-Processing images!

Now when requesting an image, you can optionally specify one or more post-processors to apply to the final result before having it sent back to you. You can even specify in which order you would like them to be applied!

Due to the extra processing required for this, every post-processor requested, increases the kudos consumption for generating that image by 20%. Furthermore due to extra bandwidth costs, upscalers will consume an extra 30% more kudos as it increases the size of the image sent significantly.

For now, we have two available options for this, but soon we'll be adding more options for you.

GFPGAN: This is a face-correcting model. Use it to try and repair faces which might not have been generated properly. It doesn't make significant changes, so it will not affect parts of the image which are not faces.

This beautification might not always what you want, so use it smartly.

Without GPFGAN:

With GFPGAN:

RealESRGAN_x4plus: This simple upscaler will increase the size of your image 4x without causing artifacts or blurring. It is significantly cheaper and faster to use this upscaler than to try to generate an image of higher resolution.

Of course, upscaling will not help with the details, so generating at higher resolutions is still useful to get more "stuff" in the image. As always, experiment and see what works best for you.
