OCT2025 - Poll Results and S&C2 Update!

Thank you to all who participated in this month's polls: according to y'all, you wanted the theme to be "...Worth A-Thousand Swirls" and rendered using WARM colors! With those rules in mind, I've got the first, EXCLUSIVE test drawing, accompanied by the first two days of #ZESTVEMBER proper - take a look at 'em!

I love these drawing challenges because they make me consider new drawing / painting / making strategies, but also encourage me to draw things I like in ways I'd never considered. (When you gotta draw the same pair 30 different times, it kinda behooves you to come up with something unique for them to do.) For now, I've used black micron pens, some zebra clickart pens, and holbein watercolors for the first (test) illustration, and I mostly used staedtler fine tip markers and those same watercolors for the other two. I HAVE taken in-progress photos as well, which I'm sure some would find interesting for me to share eventually.

Regarding Swirl&Cake2! I've made some great progress, writing the script I'm gonna use for the next section - I've got 8-ish pages all outlined and I'm doing layout / thumbnailing in between commissions. I hope to have the next 8 pages with sketches and text ready for y'all by the end of the month. Otherwise, I'll have November polls to ya shortly!
