As for me, I've been absolutely swamped with non-art-related responsibilities, so I've been squeezing progress on our SWIRL&CAKE whenever I get the chance! Who knew doing multiple pages of story development and art would consume so much time and energy? So, again, as I'm figuring out how to make this project jive with my daily life as well as how to compose the comic itself, thanks for being so patient with me! You won't be disappointed. <3
For now, enjoy seeing our friend SWIRL waking up, as requested by January's special poll! Ain't he a doll? - I'm thinking of using drawings like these as little intermissions between story beats in the comic, perhaps sitting in the corner of the page or a whole spread. What do you think?
