Cloud, Tifa and Sephiroth - Part VI
Added 2022-01-23 08:31:06 +0000 UTCCloud’s angry blow is a sweeping haymaker of a punch and – allied to the pain inflicted by Tifa’s heel-kick to his groin – it proves too much for Sephiroth who falls to his knees gasping for breath. And at once Cloud darts to recover his fallen blade and return to the attack. But his enemy is not yet defeated – far from it – and with a snarl he also seizes his sword and parries Cloud’s first, over-hasty stroke. Sparks fly as steel strikes steel and sharp edges screech shrilly as they grate together. Tifa can only look on helplessly as the furious fight goes on; her boyfriend is almost unhinged in his raw anger, determined to make the fallen one pay at long last. With a cry of rage he rushes at his foe, sword swung high aloft for a stroke that would cleave a tree-trunk. But Sephiroth’s slender blade turns the blow in a shower of sparks – and at once follows-up with a blow of his own…..
