Test of Ability

Those words made your heart sink into despair...

You began to understand what your friend must have felt, before he ratted you out to this pink-haired monster. As you watched him grow to the size of a building, and grass begin to stretch towards the sky like cornstalks, your eyes remained fixated on him.

"I've always wondered what your point of view must be..." Marro pondered, looking over the strange magnifying glass in his hand before holding it to his eye, causing your already diminutive form to begin whittling away once more.

"Please stop!!!" You shouted, your words falling on deaf ears as Marro continued.

"I bet my hair would look like a forest... my skin like a vast desert.."

"Shut up!! Stop taunting me!!! You son of a--" You were interrupted once more as the giants booming voice filled the air around you, rattling your entire body with its intensity.

"I bet I couldn't even crush you with my foot at this point~! You'd just get lost between the folds of skin~!" He laughed. Could he even hear you anymore?

Your blood boiled at that laugh, that maniacal cackle that shook you to your core. The worst part wasn't even his mocking, nor his threats. No, the worst was the genuine joy he seemed to take in all this. The gleeful smile, the nonchalant tone, the genuine curiosity of his tone as he played with your life as though you were a disposable toy. You were truly nothing in the face of this almighty being.

At this, you broke. You fell to your knees, shuddering violently with fear and shame, coming to terms with this terrible end... and then it stopped. The shrinking halted, the laughing gone, and nothing but silence filled the air. As you swallowed the lump in your throat, you looked up towards the sky, your entire view being clouded by one enormous, magnified eye.
