2022-11-18 16:58:36 +0000 UTChey legend, tragically for you i have not filmed my reactions to the extended version as i like to keep my sanity :') also for me with my hectic schedule i dont really have the time to sit down for 4 hours to watch these movies. i can just about manage to squeeze in enough time for the 3 hour ones. But i will probably watch the extended versions at some point, maybe with my brother as hes always wanted to watch these movies with me. Its great to see you love these movies so much though! i see why, theyre pretty cool

If you’re not I will happily send them to you, because it really is so much better and makes more sense with all the scenes in it! I’ve watched these movies since they came out in theaters and I’ve seen each one probably at least 1000 times, im not exaggerating, so I’m here for any questions!! (or I will actually legit send you extended versions) I think the original LOTR movies are the best movies ever made, I know every word to the extendeds, AND I think it is super important for you to know that these movies, all 3, were shot consecutively/all at the same time, I believe they filmed for a year and a half. THAT IS BRILLIANT FILMMAKING!!! I’ve also watched the 10+ hours of behind the scenes of these movies and the production, everything was so well thought out and years of pre-production for every costume, set piece, and on location place. A true masterpiece, a legend of a movie series. It can never be done that great again. (Like in the second movie, they found a location piece for Rohan and they built the castle on the hilltop for the shot in the movie, just to tear it down immediately afterwards. It was such a hard location to shoot and to build at, that all building materials and people had to be helicoptered in!) I CANNOT WAIT FOR LOTR OH MY GOSH YOU HAVE NO IDEA
