American here. I got an AMEX card so I could make purchases from Toranoana & Melonbooks. AMEX is only Western credit card company accepted by the two merchants. I even told the AMEX rep my motive for getting the card. W.

If you are able to pay with Toracoin or it becomes available through a platform more available to Westerners (e.g. Booth [I haven’t tried Bookmate, yet]), Tenso can forward it. Some proxy buying programs have restrictions on adult products. I used BuyDoujinshi to pre-order and ship 「ひつじのきもちいい もっとAfter」and didn’t have any problems. If it gets a consignment through Mandarake, it could be shipped directly to overseas customers.
