you should stop talking over dialogue otherwise you miss it. Try to talk between breaks. Had to stop watching because you talk over everything

Lan now has the difficult task of watching this solo... or doing a channel-crossover for it with Ivy.

Hi angels.
I never saw this movie before (not even the munchies's one) . I only knew that was a Clint Eastwood and it will not be a happy one. And damn, I didn't expect to be that hard!!
Be brave, angels. I think your silence and tears while the credit said it all. (damn you make me cry !! doesn't happen often in reaction, but on this one....π)
The worse is to think that people like those gangster really do exist and certainly are even worse.
My thought on Walter. yes, he was a grumpy racist one with a big heart. We can understand why is like that. his only "real" family don't give a damn about him. his health is declining, he has PTSD from war, he's seeing what was a good friendly neighborhood becoming dangerous. Even if he's old, a lot of young people can recognize themselves in his life. (living in a world less and less secure and happy)
But his biggest mistake was too seek revenge. if he didn't go after the cousins after the cigaret's burn, the gunfight and sue's aggresion will not had happened ! Maybe something else whould have happened, it was still neccesary to put them in jail, but the butterfly effect was there... Everyone seeks revengbut it did nothing good. I know a proverb "when you want to revenges, dig two tomb, one for your ennemie and one for you". it was litteral here. except he sacrifice himself...
Ran, I think they did rape her. she has way too much marks on her legs .(damn they deserve a horrible death !!! a Blood eagle on them will be good ! if you don't know what it is,read a description, don't look for pictures! for your own good!)
For the asian family, they're very good people. We can understand him in the beginnigs (maybe because i'm european....). we don't know them. they seems strange. but if you take time to know them, you find yourself a new family.
On a brighter side:
Thanks, I discovered not only a movie, but also a lot of things on south-eastern asian! Culture (I didn't even know the Hmong people did exist !!), foods, a little history. always a pleasure discovering thing (and has you're leaving near, it's good to have someone who said " that's like us" or "yeah, we also do that!")
I agree with Yuri !! go to asian !! ( I have my aunt and cousins who's fillipino, yeah they're friendly !)
Thanks also for your cheerfulness ! and for the reminder about our parents (even if sometimes, they're hard to live with π )
Thanks for the discovery and "good" (in a way....) times.
Have a nice days !!
PS: i thought I would look the reactions of the munchies right after.... I'm gonna wait a little!!

Tien and Lan really gave you guys a tough movie to react to.
This movie is a real heartbreaker. The first 80 to 90 percent is quite positive; Walt helps Thao overcome his insecurity, and especially Thao and Sue pull Walt out of his loneliness.
Then comes the scene where you see Sue being assaulted by the gang, and bam, everything goes south. I can never manage not to cry at the end of the movie.
Great words at the end from you ladies. Especially the part about spending more time with your parents. Hit me hard. It's a lesson I unfortunately understood too late in life.
That was, as always, a wonderful reaction, Angels. I like these solo reactions from you; it helps us get to know you a little better and gives you more time to shine, I love it.π
