Breakthrough - Significant Ursa Cine Immersive Quality Jump - Remastered San Francisco
Added 2025-11-27 18:22:15 +0000 UTCSuccess! So many times I thought I had it right, but this time ive offically done it.
Finally achieved perfect workflow, perfect pixel handling, perfect aspect ratio, perfection.
Aspect ratio was the tell. The Ursa workflow required very specific multi-phase rendering and if any one of near hundreds of settings were wrong or out of order it would lower quality, smear pixels, and distort aspect ratio.
The rabbit hole goes deep, im so happy to have figured it out after many many many hours of burning the midnight oil. And here I thought it would be a quicker workflow than before haha.
San Francisco has been remastered with the new workflow, and the quality has taken another significant jump - which is mind blowing to me. It took 100 Tb of intermediates to achieve the 80 Gb of perfection of this 1 hour experience. Yosemite is already rendering again, and should be out in 3 days. Will post again in 3 days.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Aaah such great news. Happy Thanksgiving to you too, Sarah and to all of course. It's amazing how technology evolves so quickly and so much is involved. Thank you so much for the perfected experience!
