Home stretch everyone! Master renders are done now in packaging render which takes another 20 hour apparently. Will be out tomorrow for sure. I’ve turned this from a single 0.5 fps render into 3-5 render passes to get to the master render file from which I render each version (I’ve lost count lol) ranging .5 fps to 3 fps which is why I’m having a hard time estimating release. Remaining parts will release soon also now that I’ve got the workflow nailed down it’s just a matter of time (2/4 days per part rendering)
Improvements:
80% less black bubble circle on left and right so more to see!
Perfect true to life aspect ratio
30-40% sharper without that odd look of artificial sharpening. All platform versions will benefit from this.
New HDR10 variant to release. PCVR and Galaxy XR can experience in HDR10! (With HDR headset, quest 3 is SDR)
MVHEVC HDR10 variant will release 1/2 more days after tomorrow. This variant will be 10% higher resolution + 90 fps and play natively on Vision Pro.

Underestimated the intensity of this workflow and all the issues that would arise. House has been a toaster for weeks with all pcs running full blast lol.
Long story short it’s been set back after set back so part 1 was delayed again, it’s rendering (again) and this time it’s definitely working the way it should. It will release Thursday. With the other parts releasing shortly after. Seems like it takes about 2/3 days per 20 min part with all three pcs going nonstop.
Sorry everyone. I don’t take this lightly and have been working daily with many days well into the morning hours to get this sorted. First time such disastrous delay has struck but I guess I should have seen that coming with such a cutting edge workflow. I get anxious and think everyone will leave if I mess up the schedule and it’s a lot of pressure so I can’t thank you all enough for understanding about these delays. I will catch back up to the schedule it just there were so many issues with the new workflow.
I’m calling it Apple quality. This has to be the workflow it looks incredible I’ve never seen anything like it. I’ve finally cracked the code. Excited to finally start getting it out on Thursday.
What went wrong:
Corrupted frames causing 20 hour renders to fail
Circuit breaker blew under the 24/7 three pc load causing render failures
Blown highlights after phase two of multiphase technique
Incorrect routing of jobs through 12 port 10 gbps switch causing render delays
Third color grading pass was trickier than anticipated to master (nailed it now though :D )

Look i have been a member continuously since near the beginning. I don't think there has been any videos released perfectly on time. But my attitude with your video releases is 'they will be out when they are out". And trust me, i don't have this attitude with any other goods or services i pay for. It is a testament to the quality and uniqueness of your work, and the effort i know you put into them, that meeting release dates just doesn't matter to me.
