Discord Server Now Live

Update:

For those having trouble with the discord access, please go to your Patreon settings and connect your discord details with your Patreon account. It will automatically add you once you link the discord account to the Patreon account.

It can be found in “Settings” >> “Connected Apps”

Let me know if there are still issues after trying this.

Main:

1) As I was working on videos the other day, I thought to myself how I wish experience creation wasn’t so isolating. I thought to myself how it would be nice to have friends that I could talk to about the channel.

Then it hit me. I have soo many friends here already. I just need a better way to communicate with them, and a better way for them to communicate with each other.

I am happy to announce that the new discord server is now live.

Use it as a place to discuss:

-past experiences

-new experiences

-what you would like to see in future experiences

-potential interview questions for the next experience

-ask behind the scenes questions on challenges I faced on any part of an experience/trip

-just to generally hang out with me and other VR immersive experience enthusiasts.

The discord is only available for active paid members of any tier on YouTube or Patreon. If anyone would like to be a moderator, please message me on here. You must have had membership for 6 months to be considered for a discord moderator.

2) I am also introducing a new “Easter egg” feature to my experiences starting with Michigan ice fest experience. With this, I will purposely hide an object throughout an experience. I will not announce what the object is until 2-3 weeks after an experience is fully released to give everyone time to download the experience/ give time for YouTube to process the video for paid YouTube members. This will add a fun little game to the experiences, as well as increase re-watchability.

Collaborate amongst yourselves on discord to find all the Easter eggs on the Easter egg discord channel. When all of the easter eggs for an experience have been found, the prize will be a photo album posted to discord with a series of pictures that were taken at that particular location.

As it is often impossible for me to take the big rig everywhere I want to go (due to filming restrictions/ mobility) the photo album will be a really cool way to experience more of a given location.
