Updated 2024 Schedule
Added 2024-02-06 16:35:27 +0000 UTCUp until now, I have been almost entirely dependent on my own savings to fund these experiences.
Between all the traveling, filming, planning, editing, color grading, social media advertising/responding, ambisonics audio editing, equipment research/purchase, patreon customer service, and maintaining shared drives (the list goes on and on) my days are long and I am still not profitable.
But with the channel support continuing to grow, I am now able to pay for almost 55% of what it takes to travel and create these experiences.
Everyday I am fearful I will wake up to all of my patreon members leaving and I will therefore be forced to stop.
It’s a scary feeling and it makes me not want to take anymore risk and slow down the traveling.
But I started this channel knowing that no matter how hard I worked I may never see any of this money back. I started this channel because of my love for VR and the people of this world.
From my first experience with VR using Samsung Gear VR (Phone VR) in 2016, I was immediately enamored at all the potential immersive experiences had to redefine the entertainment landscape. With this power, one could bring the world closer together and grant everyone - regardless of age, disability, or income - the ability to see and experience all of the beauty this world has to offer.
So I waited patiently for more immersive VR content to emerge. And you know how the rest of the story unfolds. Year, after year, after year, I waited but - much to my surprise - no such content had been created. After years of waiting, I said enough. I will be the change I want to see in this world. I wanted to help people, and the VR community I had grown to love. I would risk it all to create high quality immersive travel experiences, no matter the cost.
And that's how my story started, I sold my car for a cheaper car in early 2022 and I bought the fanciest highest end VR equipment on the market - equipment so expensive that only the porn industry was using it (Because there is so much money in that industry there is almost 0 incentive for professionals to buy such high end equipment to create anything else)
With the support of my loyal patreon members I am ready to take the next leap of faith. So below is the product of your support. Below is what you have helped create thanks to your loyalty. Stick with me, and together we will create the best and highest quality travel experiences this world has ever seen.
Please note there may be 1-2 days delay in the release of any given episode due to unforeseen issues/ rendering PC crashes (These videos still crash my rtx4090 PCs occasionally lol)

Could you share a screenshot of your settings? I find I also have to zoom back out to the max otherwise it's not particularly sharp

2024-12-13 14:17:48 +0000 UTC4XVR is not free, it stops working after 30 days. It is in fact the most expensive player on the market. HOWEVER, it is also the single BEST player on the market. All other players either don't support spatial at all or have severe sync issues or stutter even when playing locally. In 4XVR I strongly recommend disabling the contrast boost, lowering contrast by 50% and upping brightness by around 20%. The color settings are way off in 4XVR for some reason.

2024-07-22 07:39:53 +0000 UTCJust have to clarify here, Dave Klopping said 4XVR is free. It is not. it has a free TRIAL for 30 days, but it is in fact the most expensive player on the market. HOWEVER, it is also the single BEST player on the market. All other players either don't support spatial at all or have severe sync issues or stutter even when playing locally. I have tried nearly all there is, and 4XVR is the best for your videos. In 4XVR I strongly recommend disabling the contrast boost, lowering contrast by 50% and upping brightness by around 20%. The color settings are way off in 4XVR for some reason.

2024-07-22 07:38:25 +0000 UTCI appreciate all that you’re doing to bring these amazing places to everyone. I did have a bit of difficulty viewing the video since not all players support Spatial Audio and downloading the files to the headset takes up so much space. I thought I’d share some info that might help other users. I apologize if this has been posted before. The free Meta app 4XVR supports Spatial Audio and will play files off a flash drive. A 256gb USB C 3.2 works great ($20). Lots of room and fast. This way I can show the vids to others very easily. Keep up the great work!
