Great points. Yes the quality isn’t to great, but I am also looking forward to all the awareness iphone spatial video brings to immersive VR in general. With all that new user generated spatial content, the VR industry as a whole will greatly benefit as a side effect. As for more pro quality VR180 content like mine, there are just soo many barriers for entry in this field. Not only is the gear ridiculously expensive, it takes an absurd amount of technical knowledge and time to put together a proper VR180 experience. And when you finally get all that together, you need to have enough creativity to generate good video ideas/edit them in a fun way, and you need to have enough charisma to draw the fun and smiles out of the people out there while you are filming. Fortunately, the channel continues to grow. With that growth, I plan to finally start hiring people to help with all the thousands of jobs I am trying to do myself. So even bigger and better content will start coming in even faster than ever before starting soon :) This is all thanks to loyal patreon members such as yourself. I won’t let you down, I will create faster.

2024-01-20 15:05:03 +0000 UTCWith the Apple Vision Pro coming out, i checked out some spatial videos recorded on iphone 15 pro. They are disappointing compared to quality VR180, just peering into a 3D window compared to the proper immersion of VR180. The advantage though is how many iphones pros are out there versus how many people have a high end VR180 camera (hardly anyone!) so there will be way way more apple spatial video content over the course of this year. In summary, your videos are just gold, high quality VR180 nothing compares, i just wish there was more content.
