Added 2024-01-03 16:11:28 +0000 UTCHappy New Year Everyone! Thanks to your support, 2024 is looking to be the best year yet! The number of ongoing patreon members directly affects my ability to create bigger and better experiences. Bigger and better experiences means even more patreon members. So its a never-ending self feeding cycle lol.
It looks like we are on track to meet our 1,000 ongoing patreon members goal by the end of July, and I am already looking at all the exciting locations I want to film in Japan. There are just soo many cool locations in Japan, my mind is already racing thinking about all the incredible experiences I could create there. So keep showing your support, and we'll take Slice of Life VR global :D

Not to worry, no one country will ever be the entire focus of the channel. Japan is just another addition to the collection, and USA locations will constantly be on the agenda, it is my home country after all :D "Ive seen Japanese walk around videos on Youtube and they're nothing special" This one put a big grin on my face. I say the same thing about almost all of the walk around videos on youtube from any country. It really does depend entirely on the videographer as to whether it will be intersting or not. Ft Lauderdale was a great experience not just because of the location, it was a great experience because I was able befriend all those people, and with that rapport I was able to capture some amazing slices of that party life. I will use all the skills that I have learned over the last couple years as a professional 3D experiences producer to create the best Japanese experiences this world has ever seen. I'm looking to make the next three college spring break florida experiences just as exciting. Ft Lauderdale is most likely going to be on the list again, as there is so much fun to be had there. Great suggestion with the panhandle in march, I was also highly considering that as another location. Its so hard to determine which will have the most spring breakers, as it seems every other year there is a new favorite spring break beach. So I am undecided on which location in the panhandle, any suggestions? Oscars would be pretty cool actually, will put that on the long term list. Definitely wont have enough time for that this year as i'll be at the beach filming spring break for most of the month of march. LA definitely deserves another round of experiences and it is on the long term list for sure.

2024-01-12 14:57:32 +0000 UTCExcellent ideas! I will put these on the list, will definitely want to visit Kyoto for all that rural japanese culture. And a late night walk through Roppongi does look like a perfect "Slice of life VR" experience :D Super nice that roppongi is in Tokyo, as that will definitely be a location I'll want to be filming. Perhaps I can do Shibuya at the same time. Then there's Osaka nightlife which looks like it would be a blast as well, maybe even more so than roppongi actually, and the lighting looks a bit better there so might have to do that one also - so hard to decide on the best location since ive never been! What are your thoughts on Osaka vs Roppongi? I am only just beginning putting the agenda together, and these ideas help a ton. Cant say it enough, love these ideas, so they will be on the agenda for sure :D Soo many possibilities for Japan :D

2024-01-12 14:21:26 +0000 UTCGotta admit I don't think I'd be interested in Japan. Maybe I'm in the minority on that. I've seen Japan walk around videos on YouTube and they're nothing special IMHO. I prefer your USA locations especially the ones with people doing fun things like the Spring Break and Mardi Gras videos. For 2024 Spring Break I'd suggest a return to Ft. Lauderdale and South Beach, but I heard the Panhandle area is also busy in March. And as for other locations, Venice Beach (aka Muscle Beach) in SoCAL would be great. Lots of activity there. Also the Hollywood Walk of Fame might be good, plus the Farmers Market in LA. And this might sound like a crazy idea but I wonder if you could request a press pass to cover the Red Carpet at the upcoming Oscars? They might just give that to you because of your YT channel. Seeing celebrities up close in VR would probably attract a lot more people to your channel. You may need to bring someone with you to wrangle the celebrities over to your cam to ask questions.

2024-01-10 23:21:15 +0000 UTCAssuming you make it to Japan and have the budget, be sure to include a trip to Kyoto via Shinkensen (bullet train) as well as Hiroshima. Late night walk through Roppongi can be entertaining:). As you mentioned, countless amazing destinations throughout the entire country, I'm sure you've done your homework and will have a well packed agenda for your followers.
