Schwarzpelz - Character Design
Added 2020-05-13 17:38:05 +0000 UTCA possible design for an upcoming character. She be beyond floofy and you might just explode from the cutesy overload, so beware!
Only problem is that, while I know where I'd put her, I don't know if I'll go the full length of sketching out the entire part of the story where she'll disappear. Been thinking about how I should treat the chapters and if I should go for a... overhaul of the manga style that would allow me to look at single pages in a more relaxed way. Right now I'm still trying to make every single page and panel look as good as I can and that's still slowing me down a lot. I'd like to shift to a style where I don't care too much about how clean and smooth smaller panels look and just go for big, fully polished important panels from time to time. Basically I don't wanna have whole chapters be this huge, scary mountain of work that's gonna take me a year to finish and more like something that can be done in a month or two.
Aaaanyway, will figure it out hopefully.

Ha! When I first read that, I was VERY momentarily shocked to think you were redesigning Schwarzi himself! She's a cool customer! I like her! As to comic style...I'm a big proponent of "try it on and see how it feels." If you're thinking of making a format change for the sake of expediency and peace of mind, I say give it a shot! Worst case it doesn't click for you and you find yourself yearning to go back, at which point you can do exactly that.
