12:24 It's funny you mention the cat mouth. Doto is usually portrayed with that mouth, and the real horse also has that mouth. 1:00:05 It's also funny that George used the term "curve ball" for Cheval. Cheval and her (his) sisters are owned by a famous baseball player. She is seen holding a fork because the owner was known for his fork ball IIRC.

Really late on this one but yes, Bakushin does mean dash. The O in her name and other Umas names means royalty. So her full name, Sakura Bakushin O, means Sakura’s Dash King. Which is fitting as she’s probably the best Sprinter in Japanese history. Her record is 21 races 11 wins (2 being G1’s). Now this record already looks good at +50% win rate but it doesn’t tell the full story as Bakushin’s owners constantly tried getting him to go further distances (The longer races had more money) and him not being cut out for it. So if we cut all races except for sprints her record would have been 12 races and 11 wins. After his retirement he went onto be a breeding stud and is actually the grandfather of Kitasan.

The Dream Trophy League really is a dream. Didn't happen, but is a nice thought that these horses get to live on, racing forever in Umamusume. I hope the YouTube problem hasn't soured your Umamusume journey. I'm looking forward to you finishing season 3, watching Road to the Top, Beginning of a New Era and, of course, Cinderella Gray.

When you guys finish season 3, I highly recommend watching Road to the Top and then Beginning of a New Era back to back. Because they take place a year apart from one another, and some umas from Road to the Top will appear in Beginning of a New Era and you won’t recognize them otherwise

Don't forget she won the Spring Tenno Sho right after the Bouron training, her 2nd G1 win. Hands down ep 6 is one of my favorite episodes in the series.
