2025-12-18 01:05:43 +0000 UTCI didn’t really think about it myself until George started talking about it, but I guess I kind of have a condition similar to McQueen. I have Achilles tendinitis and plantar fasciitis in both feet. I first noticed it in 2018 but it has been steadily getting worse. I finally talked to a doctor about it again just recently and I got that same kind of diagnosis. It’s most likely the best it will ever be right now than it will ever be for the rest of my life. In 2018 when I initially got a partial diagnosis, I was just told to avoid standing for >4 hours at a time, but now it starts to turn into heavy pain after as little as 30 min-1 hour. I kinda just don’t think about it, but from everything I’ve heard, I wouldn’t be all that surprised if it eventually means I won’t be able to so much as walk for 10 min by the time I’m like 50. It doesn’t matter that much to me just because I’m not an incredibly active person, but it has meant that I can’t take any jobs that require standing, and things like my sister’s weddings that I was standing for for several hours left my feet in pain for weeks after
