Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Episode 20-21 Full Reaction

Comments

Another wonderful reaction. So I wanted preface a tidbit on some of the set ups, the book concerning the teleportation dungeon was brought into the picture during vol 8 while this current arc episode is vol 12. Right around the time Rudy started to do the research about the teleportation incident with Fitz(Sylphie). The author actually had decent chunk of what was written within that book during the chapter in vol 8, it being more so a journal of someone dungeon diving through the Teleportation Dungeon. While the anime only brushed upon it once or twice in the first part of season 2, the author at least gave few volume worths of time for the setup. Also George has a great mindset for consuming fiction to be frank and I would of liked alot more consumers of media shared his mindset about not bringing the morality of the modern day to judge a character from a totally different period and moral norms. But judging the author for said choices really is free game like George mentioned. I come across too many shallow remarks and dishing out judgment towards a character/society in stories all across the sorts of media... Though the most egregious ones are the authors of Isekai ( particularly the narou authors, which is the web novel platform Mushoku and alot of other LN get their balls rolling at first.) who bring characters from modern times to haphazardly reform the societal norms of the world they were spirited awayed into. Especially without really understanding the ramification of their actions. They go over a lot more in-depth about the whole dungeon diving portion in vol 12 which Graham would probably eat it up like desert and the author will dish out seconds and thirds for it too. You really get to see each role of the party be fleshed out especially with Elinalise and Geese. Think I mentioned before about how competent Elinalise is as a mixed tank, you get to see it in action during the on route to the city with her and Rudy. While Ruijerd was more in the role of guardian for Eris and Rudy, the author showcases how well Elinalise can synergise with her companions in and out of combat. For Geese, he really does fill the rogue role well in dnd term, he's the oil that keeps the machine running. Micromanages the gear and rations, scouts and barters, really the guy that any party needs in a campaign and without a guy like him around everything falls apart with the amount of small things he does. Party comp wise. Elinalise was the tank Paul was the sub dps Talhand was the offensive caster and sub tank Zenith was the healer Ghislaine the main dps Geese the scout/rouge Honestly a solid lineup, probably lacking a bit of magic department, but that's due to Rudy and Roxy being top to sub top tier regarding their capabilities. You can see how Roxy, Elinalise and Talhand would be able to easily traverse the demon continent with a three man team. Oh lastly, Roxy has mastered quick incantation. It's far easier to notice in the LN, but she's able to cast most of her spells within in a line or two while other casters required several. You can check episode 1 of season 2 with how long the normal casting is compared to Roxy's casting in this episode. While she can't master incantation less magic, she's hasn't been slacking at polishing herself as a caster. ROXY! ROXY! ROXY!

Dekalabia

It’s so on for the finale. I can’t wait

Niyabinghi

All of this is made known in the novel when they reach Begaritt

54:08 Yes, you bet she is smitten. After all this is what she said back in season 1, episode 13 about her ideal romantic encounter: "One day, a tall, slim, young man who's manly but still makes childish expressions will save me by chance in the depths of labyrinth. Then, we'll team up, and as we work together, love will bloom between us." Her dream come true.

Star Wolf

It was killed in a battle with the North God Kalman II who is notably MUCH weaker than Orsted. The current North God in power is Kalman III

Another great reaction guys. I again will refrain from speaking too much as I am worried about what I may say and I don't want to lead any of the excellent theory crafting and discussion. Waiting eagerly for the conclusion.

Maybe it's just me, but I would think that the people that settled Rapan probably were okay with living under a giant skeleton considering the fact that there's a huge oasis there and they're surrounded by desert. It's like you guys were discussing with Japan and their earthquakes. You take the good with the bad.
