One day you'll have to watch what inspired Bunny Girl Senpai: the Monogatari Series. But I'm not sure if George is quite ready for that yet XD Jokes aside, it's been awhile since I've seen this show so it'll be nice to rewatch it. While it definitely falls a bit short of Monogatari's greatness and philosophical nuance in my humble opinion, it still does enough to stand on its own merit to make it a worthwhile experience.

Due to time constrains I didn't have the time to start Season 2 yet (only watched the 3 movies besides Season 1), so probably will keep Season 2 waiting till you guys get to it, so will have a blind watchalong then.

The show was not what I had expected, the conversations between character feels like the characters wanting to one up each other and the story's mystery was so intriguing. After the first 3 episode I was completely hooked by the series. With season 2 airing I've been bouncing with anticipation for each episode to watch. Also Shouko is best girl

2025-08-19 15:55:54 +0000 UTCSuch disappointment, not really a bunny girl just a normal girl wearing a suit :( Jokes aside, I love this anime for the reason Graham pointed out, the mystery is awesome and really intriguing at first, but what stands out to me is the uniqueness of the characters of the show. It almost feels like a deconstruct of typical RomCom protagonists in a way. Sakuta and Mei dynamics are really fun, the sarcasm and dryness are really fun to watch. Futaba the best girl btw
