Rudy’s past actions always come back to bite him in the ass one way or another 😂

For context Linia and Pursena insisted that they didn't demand the girls panties or force any girl who said no. They also gave a clean pair to any girl who did contribute to the cheer up boss gift. They also did not ask Norn as they considered first years too young. Linia and Pursena were under the mistaken belief that Rudy worshiped girls panties. He had to clarify that they were a holy relic of the person he worshiped.

I came to the comments to say that but i didn't need to :) I'd just like to add that the bandana was the emblem of their adventurers party "Dead End " composed of Eris, Ruijerd and Rudy

I believe alot of authors excels in this but Rifujin really has a knack for creating flawed and believable characters. While Norn wasn't introduced to be flawed, but as truly like a child whose missed many hallmarks and milestones in her childhood. So a very undeveloped individual even with her age in regard, which is contrasted with how ahead of the curve Aisha is. People regard Rudy to be a genuis, but through the vantage point of the audience we know he had a head start, but Aisha truly is gifted. Having someone like her and Rudy around really did compound upon Norn's inferiority complex.
I have really come to appreciate Norn as a character over the years, especially with how she feels so grounded due to her mediocrity. Sounds odd, but with such a fantastical setting, and with characters who can achieve demigod like feets, Norn being so normal is such a wonderful contrast. How she stumbles more than others, and being able to see her muster up the courage to get up.
Now Aisha is such an enigma, a tool too sharp for the job kinda gal. You rarely see her stumble or falter, and that's her draw. Might seem a bit cruel, but you start to anticipate when such a scenario might occur for her. Cause she always has an answer for her problems, and a head to be able to solve problems she might have never come across before.

This is Mushoku Tensei’s bread and butter. No anime does complex and realistic interpersonal relationships quite like MT. Every character feels real. And there were even more parts from the LN that got cut from Norn’s experience in this episode.

While the whole "gift bag" thing might feel like just another pervy joke at first, it's worth giving a second thought to Rudy's reaction to the whole thing. We probably wouldn't have had to go all that far back in time for him to actually have been happy with such a gift, but now? He was genuinely embarrassed and remorseful, and took it all quite seriously without a single joke or pervy comment, apologized and set the beast girls straight afterwards. Sure, that's what one would expect from most anyone, but for Rudy it feels like a noteable bit of growth to have him act so normal about it ^^

“My older brother feelings” is one of the best episodes this series has. Mushoku thrives when there are interpersonal relationships and mental challenges. When Eartheus was still back in his old skin, people tried to help him, but no one, not even his parents, tried to understand him and feel his pain. His brother tried to use common sense, his parent tried to pity him, his classmate tried to downplay it as a joke.
During his life as Rudeus, he encountered mental trauma again several times. But every single time, there was someone who tried to be there for him not with pity, not with common sense, but with “it’s okay, I am here for you”. Roxy when he isolated himself at home, Eris during fight with Paul, Soldat when Sara left him and Sylphie to mend his hearth after Eris trauma. And as we see, he was the same Eartheus when no one was there for him during Eris breakup. He constantly needs for someone to simply be there for him, for a human connection without that sense of “they just feel bad for me, that’s it”. I fear for Rudy not only during this season or the story, but overall. He is very, very fragile on his own and only a handful of people can see him for what he is, and those people the most cherished ones in his life, to the point of declaring them deity like (Hello, Roxy, how are you sweetheart?)
Rudy is a complex person. It’s really a shame that a lot of people just go along with first impression and cast off the whole show because of Rudy’s disturbing behavior at the start of this show. I want to thank both of you, Graham and George, for accepting Rudy for what he is, both good and bad, and seeing something more than just a funny story about some MC that got his wishes fulfilled. Recently I compared the story to a diary of sorts. One of the reasons why, is because there is no “divine intervention” when character does bad or good things. You can bring your friend from the demon continent, literally put your life on the line for them and get breakup with several years of trauma. You can grope catgirls and do not take any punishment for it, maybe even get rewarded with your own pack afterwards. This is life, and good people not always get rewarded as well as bad actions not always get punished afterwards. You have your own moral compass, and this is your reward and guilt, as it usually goes in our life. Nobody can judge you for those bad things you did all those years ago and only you remember, as well as nobody will thank you for saving a stray cat and giving him food.
Thank you again from the bottom of my hearth, and I got to say, I did not regret for supporting you both on parteon and on Youtube. Let’s wait for the next Turning Point when or if it comes, shall we?
