Here is a fun little question for you. If you were the author, how would you destroy Rudy? This character, despite, or should I say because of his past is very social. His strenght comes from the people around him, and when he feels truly alone and isolated, he sees no value in himself and his life. Wouldn't it be funny if we will take away every single person around him just to break his spirit?
The problem with characters like Subaru or Rudeus is that they can't see any value in themselves even with the biggest telescope. All their worth is purely transactional. "I can secure Emilia-tan's happines, meaning I am worth something in this regard, without it I am useless"; "I will make Eris part of my family and she will be happy, I have my purpose. Oh dang, she decided I am not worthy, must be true, my only worth right now is in searching for my mother, maybe she will give me a purpose"; "I have married Sylphy, all my purpose is to make this woman happy, without it I am literally nothing".
This is the behaviour of deeply traumatized by the universe characters. They are very kind, but this kindness comes from fear of being alone most of the time.
Let's change the topic. What will break Sylphy's hearth? She already suspects that Rudy can chase other women, she said it herself several times before. She knows that he is a lot like his father, they look similar, they are similarly perverted, they have bonded together. She was constantly living in that space when she was a kid, and I'm sure Lilia taught her a lot about Rudy's perversion. In my opinion, she is less afraid or worried about him chasing after women, and more about him leaving her and dissapearing as she stated at the end of the last episode. Her character is pretty unique, because she was raised in the different environment, so setting our standarts for her would not be totally correct. This and that is different though, if for example Rudy will go to a brothel and Sylphy will say that she is okay with that, it doesn't mean that the audience should be, duh.
Cut content as usual.
1. Zanoba's club. It was made personally by Rudy, and it weighted a ton. He made it as durable as possible, so the only person who could wield it is Zanoba.
2. House renovation. Thanks to Rudy's supplying materials from mana, and the help of a known master dwarf, they renovated the house pretty fast, in a span of a month and a little.
3. Holy relics. Yes, it was a piece of cloth with her blood. Rudy likes to hold onto mementos, and this is the most important thing by his own values from Sylphy, so he oughta properly worship it. He does believe in bond supremacy, so his religion is based on the people who affected him the most.
4. Cliff, Milis. There is a official religion called Milis, originated from the continent of Milision, Zenith's motherland. This religion is somewhat akin to Christianity, believing that saint Milis was a god among living, and adhering to his ways of life. One of the main teaching of Milis is the rule of monogamy, which is not that common in the world. This is why Zenith was so angry at Paul, while for example Sauros(Eris granddad) was banging maids left and right without any remorse. This religion is not something that is common around the world apart of the Milis continent, that's why a lot of families are polyamorous. Zanoba's brother, Pax (the douche) was intending of making Roxy a concubine as an example of the state of the world on the matter. Cliff is a son of a Pope, so he is basically a zealot of Milis. Poor Elinalise cannot bang dudes because Cliff will not tolerate this.
Next week ought to be interesting, both episodes will dive into several side characters more deeply, and I'm dying to see your thoughts on the subject. Thanks as always for your content guys!

Sylphie's expression told Ariel something had gone wrong, and she assumed the plan had failed. Luke never speaks against Ariel, and Sylphie and Ariel were both shocked by him coming to a man's aid, let alone Rudy, and speaking so critically of Ariel. Luke reveals that he initially bought 6 of the bottles immediately after the Teleportation Disaster for 10 gold a bottle. The one who had the monopoly on the manufacture and distribution is revealed to be the mayor of Roa. If you will remember the mayor of Roa was one Philip Boreas Greyrat. Eris wouldn't have had to by the drug in if she had known. That's how her family had the money to buy Rudy's Aqua Heartia despite the fact that Philip was the loser in the session dispute. If Rudy had only known.

Ok so great reaction again. Enjoying the theorizing and speculation. Some additional context. Yes, Laws brought Sylphie to the Greyrat house just in time to see Paul throw an unconscious Rudy into the back of the wagon. She screamed with rage and launched an Intermediate level incantation less wind spell at Paul. The same one she used to kill the assassin in episode 0. Paul countered it but said if it had been aimed at anyone not on his level of skill Sylphie would have killed them. Laws acted pretty quick to get Sylphie under control but he and Paul had schemed together to tell the lie that Rudy was being sold to a noble family and if Sylphie ever wanted to see him again she would need to behave and get strong enough to rescue him. Sylphie constantly went to the Greyrat house afterward to learn healing magic and cooking from Zenith, and etiquette and housekeeping from Lilia. Really Sylphie was trying to get them to slip and let her know where Rudy was being "held captive." Sylphie has deep fears of Rudy just disappearing again with her having no idea where he is. Rudy told Sylphie all about Eris and everything that happened to him, while Sylphie and Rudy where in the cave. Sylphie is all set to give Eris a piece of her mind if she ever gets the chance though Rudy pleaded with her not to as that would be terrible idea in his opinion. Rudy was far more afraid with Sylphie than at anytime since Eris left, she isn't just some adventurer or professional, she is someone he really cares about. Rudy asked himself if he ever told Eris he loved her, and couldn't remember. That's why he wanted to make his feelings very clear with Sylphie. He is learning lessons, but slowly George, one does not run into running.
