Hey, Apothecary Diaries did try to redeem Loulan's father. You're right, twice this happened. But we also got one of the most unredeemable one as well, Shenmei! Loulan's mother is the worst. No redemption arc for that one

2025-06-28 13:06:51 +0000 UTCI think Graham is right. That hairpin from Jinshi is an unfired Chekov’s Gun. “Loulan” might be dead, but that doesn’t mean Shisui is. That is my theory. The theme of this season has dealt in different identities. And Loulan also asks Jinshi to let live those who have already died once. I don’t think her being alive undermines that scene because that is the death of part of herself.
