at 26:47 the best part about DanDaDan is that it's everything, though most of all it's a romantic comedy. The first episode is titled "That's how love starts, ya know!" for a reason. It has elements of horror, comedy, drama (episode 7), action/battle shounen, etc. But Momo and Ken are the core. The story only slows down so they can do some romance stuff. Also, its funny that at 49:50, Seiko (granny) says milk is cow's blood, which is an old Japanese wives tale. A funny thing that alot of foreign viewers don't pick up on is that Seiko is always displaying TONS of Japanese granny stereotypes (wears a belly warmer, is ALWAYS smoking, watches and references shows from the 70s/80s, wears crappy sandals, and has granny eyeglasses while calling Ken "glasses" all the time), but is really hot. Her whole character is a pretty funny joke while also being a really good guide for the kids.

2025-06-11 22:19:44 +0000 UTCIf I remember correctly, in the second episode Ayase asks to herself and kinda assumes that that alien is a friend of the first episode's aliens. Of course, she knows as much as us, so it's still not confirmed, but I'm assuming it too until we have new information.
