Pics 102: What would Ariane look like in Real Iife (according to AI)

I've been writing new material and doing gaming research, and haven't been generating any new 3D images. But if you have been following my blog, you know that I have been dabbling in AI a little bit.
Automatic 1111, the tool I mostly use, has two modes txt2img and img2img. This week I am focusing on the first, txt2image where you type in a prompt (the more detailed the better) and it generates an image. Inconsistently unfortunately. The above prompt was to be in a teal living room wearing a purple dress, like in the Date Ariane Remastered game, but it kept on giving me teal walls and teal dress.
One of the annoying problems with AI is trying to create a prompt that generates a consistent face. Even if I create a dateariane model, which I did, the pictures generated just from this 20 image model are inconsistent and commonly off model.
My goal was to find a prompt I could use that creates a consistent face that mostly looks like Ariane. I found that a perfect match that is also consistent is mostly impossible currently. (this tech is getting more advanced every day).
My solution is the custom dateariane model x 2 + a couple of look alike celebrities with hundreds of online images each, which I'll let you guess (though I probably already spoiled it on Discord somewhere)
Below are 17 images I created with various prompts, you will see that most of them have consistent looking faces, close enough that they could be the same woman. Bodies on the other hand are off, and the occasional 6 fingered hand (a famous problem with Stable Diffusion 1.5 which is what I made these in)
Of course I included some nudes. I experimented with recreating the naked Ariane wearing only a orange scarf in a autumnal forest at sunset, and did a few of those, though it's idea of a "scarf" seems inconsistent.
Finished off with a move out of the forest and onto a beach.
I have no plans to do AI pictures as a regular feature. I'm doing it today because I have no new 3D content to share. If people like "AI Ariane" I can do more. In fact if I don't have new 3D pictures to share by next week I want to use the img2img tool which is where I take images from DAR and SITAR and attempt to generate images of AI Ariane doing the same thing as the images. Also very inconsistent, but fun.

Agreed. I am currently using AI Ariane as my avatar on instagram, but AI Ariane will never replace 3D Ariane. In fact I wrote a detailed blog post about it. https://arianeb.com/2023/02/11/3d-art-vs-ai-art-the-first-battlefront/

2023-02-12 17:56:34 +0000 UTCJust a heads up, I will NOT be making games with AI generated characters. Mostly because AI generators are not designed for multiple characters in a scene or any kind of interaction between characters. This is why any AI generated comic books you see online look like shit. 3D is so much better than AI for telling stories and animation. But the BIGGEST reason not to do visual novels, especially adult visual novels in AI is something I learned early on when people tried to imitate my HTML date simulator using photographs: adult games using photos is creepy as fuck! So using AI to create realistic stills of my 3D characters = Fun! Using AI to create entire games = creepy and weird. It is best to stay on the right side of the uncanny valley when making any kind of video game.
