Pic 56: Tinkering With Goodbye

My current work in Date Ariane Remastered is writing new walkthroughs (now called "Paths") which I have finished (link below).  

Checking that all the paths work means playing the game over and over finding bugs (found a major one related to the strip club -- it will be a lot easier to win in the next update)

It also highlights annoying things like the picture above.  Any date that ends with the player character sleeping over ends with this picture, and the more I look at it the more problems I see.  The biggest problem is that it is supposed to be a see-thru robe -- which I used for "next morning" pics since the very beginning so I was trying to be traditional, but it doesn't look good.

The second big problem is the thing that put me over the top: This picture works for next morning after sex scenes, but sometimes there is no sex, just sleep -- like when Ariane falls asleep due to being too drunk, or where Rebecca sleeps over.  I needed a "not so happy" next morning picture and came up with this:

My first attempt was in the see-thru robe and it was evident it needed to be replaced with an actual robe.  So that is what I gave her. 

The see thru robe is gone! The image attached is for posterity.  So what do I do on happier mornings.  No robe at all?  I decided to split the difference and go with a robe that Ariane neglects to tie properly:

The second new goodbye pic is even sexier, but you'll just have to wait for the next release.  I also added an ending picture where Ariane's dress is wet and semi-transparent, because there are two places where this could happen.  That is the bonus picture.

New Paths (walkthrough) Page!

As part of this phase of development, I had to create updated walkthroughs, which I am calling "paths" now, because it is less clunky and doesn't trigger the spellchecker.  Here's the link: https://arianeb.com/da-remastered-paths/

Both of these pages talk a lot about structured step by step paths built into the help section of the game.  That's actually the part I am working on now.  The last release had structured walkthroughs for the five dinners, the next release will have them for all 26 listed paths plus a few bonus paths for hard to get achievements.

But for those that are trying to use the old Date Ariane walkthroughs and they are not working, here are new ones that so far do seem to work.  Tell me if they don't.  The newest material is in path 9 - A Little Bit of Culture which doesn't work with version 0.40 because the pathing in between locations isn't there yet, because I just added it on 0.50, but you can use the path to help with the new puzzles if you need it.
