DA Remastered 0.40: The "base" game complete

Version 0.40 represents completion of the update and the "base" game. Bonus content, and a new walkthrough system I am working on aren't finished.
If you can, test out the walkthrough system: From the main menu go to "Help", then "Walkthroughs" and enable one of the 5 walkthroughs. Currently only the first five (the dinners) have been completed. The purpose of this system is to make it so you don't have to open up the internet every time you play to see what to do next. If it highlights two choices, it means you are in a loop. Pick one (usually the top is best), then the next.
Enabling more than one walkthrough at a time will show you both at the same time, which kind of defeats the purpose. It was just the easiest way to implement the system. Once a walkthrough is completed, it will disable itself, and tell you in game. Currently walkthroughs are only available on PC and Mac as Android does not have a help section.
Below is a 24mb patch if you still have 0.30 on your computer. On PC or Linux, extract the file to the directory where the datearianeremastered.exe is located, say yes to replace files.
On Mac you control-click (right-click) the Date Ariane Remastered app, Show Package Contents, go to Contents/Resources/autorun/ and drag the patch game folder, and if a window pops up, choose “Combine”.
Android has been updated on itch.io, but cannot be patched.

OK, updated the patch to include the "waterfallloop" audio to stop the crash during the dark ride.

2022-03-16 02:49:33 +0000 UTCAh thanks. Waterfall loop is an audio file originally from Ariane in Paradise that I use to make the water sound like rapids. I'll have to fix this in the next update, but if you have Ariane in Paradise, you can copy the file in the game folder, and move it to the game/audio folder of the Remastered game. I'll investigate the swing ride, too. I suspect that there is an old file that needs to be deleted. Both of these issues are the result of patching. A fresh download will fix both.

2022-03-16 02:44:07 +0000 UTCI love the new content. The fun house minigame is very relevant to current gaming trends. In my game, when you do the dizzy path at the amusement park, it looks like there's an old image imposed over the swing ride scene. Also, the game crashes during the dark ride after "We are moving faster." The error says "name 'waterfallloop' is not defined." But you can ignore the error and continue with no apparent issues.
