Version 0.22 of Date Ariane Remastered Beta is now released. Change Notes can be found at https://arianeb.itch.io/date-ariane-remastered/devlog/334237/version-022-changes
Below is a 63mb patch if you still have 0.20 on your computer. On PC or Linux, extract the file to the directory where the datearianeremastered.exe is located, say yes to replace files.
On Mac you control-click (right-click) the Date Ariane Remastered app, Show Package Contents, go to Contents/Resources/autorun/ and drag the patch game folder, and if a window pops up, choose “Combine”.
Android has not been updated on this release.

Briefly, this update covers new renders for the park and the convenience store, including basketball, playground and park photo shootscenes.

Starting a new game as the male PC after playing one as the Female PC results in the Female PC picture showing up when you take off the towel, but the male avatar showing up next to the dialog in the screen just prior to that. May be a local caching issue with my game though.

2022-01-16 01:02:54 +0000 UTCThat's a bug. Thanks. There are no major differences between male and female except in the choice "buy condoms". For male, you get an achievement if you buy condoms five times in a row. For female, who has no use for condoms obviously, you get one of four random silly responses, one of which is "I'm going for an achievement" which triggers the achievement. Extra content on the trip back are triggered based on dress and whether or not you have been to the park before, and whether you went to the store on a dare or by choice rather than on gender.

2022-01-15 22:31:26 +0000 UTCThanks. That's a bug. The "dare" is only available if Ariane is hot tubbing naked, and I wrote the new stuff assuming that the player was too. I forgot that it is possible for the player to still be in a swimsuit.

2022-01-15 22:30:00 +0000 UTCI like the option of walking to the convenience store; it adds some depth to the neighborhood. I noticed that when playing as a female if you dare Ariane to go to the convenience store in a towel, on the way back she dares you to take off your towel and walk back naked, regardless of whether you were wearing a towel to begin with or whether you were wearing anything under the towel.

2022-01-15 22:22:38 +0000 UTCI saw that too. Very cool. I also noticed on most of the dialog pages where you have the option, the text for going to the convenience store is duplicated. As a female character is the extra content locked out? I played through it and got the walk there and back but nothing else

2022-01-15 22:13:40 +0000 UTCI forgot I added that, and left it out of the version notes. On the achievement pages, the missing achievements are not links and have a different color, which is intentional, but the missing achievements are center justified instead of left justified with in their text box and so they get indented when the achievement name is short, and I have not found a fix for that yet. I also added red text to the stats screen that pops up in the lower left to tell you what you are missing. I did this in Hopepunk City, and got a lot of positive feedback on it, so I decided to do it here.
