Pic 43: Garage and Bedroom

For the next update, I want to finish all the house pictures, and it is the garage and bedroom that are currently missing. Bedroom is the biggest of the two and I built a new set for it. I decided that I don't really a need a new garage (car park? car port?) but I re-textured the entire SUV to make it look better in Poser 12 Superfly.

Ariane owns a motorcycle that I also re-textured. It is not relevant to Date Ariane, but it gets mentioned in Ariane in Paradise.

I finished building and lighting the bedroom, but only completed the "changing" pictures (the ones you see if you follow Ariane into the bedroom, if she lets you), so I'm sharing a couple to show off the bedroom set.

The bare bones version of the set had a generic picture on the wall which I changed to Monet's "Water Lilies Setting Sun" which I first used in SITA before the Renpy Date Ariane, and decided to keep it in this game, too.

Then I decided the bedroom needs an interesting color scheme, especially since so many key scenes are set there, and wondered what kind of colors to use. All I know is I didn't want the red or yellow from the original game, or the dark teal or white I already used.

Then after adding the "Water Lilies" picture I suddenly got a great idea. I sampled pixels from the Monet to color everything in the room. Ariane's Vanity and the doors has a dark wood colors that is similar to the browns in the picture. Everything else is colored different shades of gray, beige, green, and peach that are colors sampled directly from the Monet picture. I'm generally not a fan of olive green but in this scheme it looks really good.
