Status Report on Hopepunk City

Since it is the beginning of a new month, thought I'd give you a status report of what I am working on. By my calculations, I have about 12 scenes left to write/illustrate, some I have figured out in my head, some I have no idea what is supposed to happen.
6 of those scenes involve a date with Ariane: Romantic and Wild versions of dinner, dancing, and after party. The idea is you can choose which version of each to go with, making 8 possible combinations, four of which will be successful. For example, Ariane won't like romantic, romantic, romantic or wild, wild, wild, but certain mixes will go well.
2 more involve Rachel, one with Maya, one with Sasha, and 2 involving a side plot with siblings of Ariane and Rachel. Then I'm done with the Narrative.
I recently spent about $100 on royalty free music licenses, 70% of the sound effects will be reused from previous games, and I should be able to find the rest I need, like small dog barking, growling, or a dryer buzz. One that may prove difficult: traffic noises where all the vehicles are electric.
Final step will be adding achievements, They are likely to work similar to the ones like "Ariane in Paradise". There will be achievements for hitting every dialog in the game, every career choice, every story outcome, etc.
Right now, I am still feeling creative and motivated to do as much as I can. My goal is to knock the 12 scenes out in August, do the audio and achievements in September, and have something to release in October.
Then take a break before tackling Date Ariane Remastered.
Comments
I was referring to a habit of mine to go in cycles with my interests. Cycle 1: creative, cycle 2: gaming (other peoples), cycle 3: research (usually reading, or other casual activities), then loop around back to 1. Each cycle can last a couple of weeks to 3 or 4 months.
