Go to the Beach with Ariane

It's coming up to Labor Day weekend, and time for one last summer beach trip. This is the rest of Day 2 and it's the biggest update yet.
While the hike through the jungle is the longest and most interesting path on Day 2. This update adds a bunch of new locations: 1. A morning beach trip, 2. A morning Coral Reef snorkeling adventure, 3. Lunch at a fish taco stand, 4. A casino with a statistically accurate simulation of French Roulette, 5. An educational bird aviary, and last but definitely not least (in fact it's the biggest part) 6. A sailboat ride.
This is a bit of an experiment. Patreon has a file size limit of 200MB, and we already reached that last time. So I am posting an "Upgrade" patch to last months game. You can download last month's game here, then once extracted, download the upgrade below and extract it to the directory where you launch the game. Let it overwrite any identical files (it should find about 8 of them). Then relaunch the game. You should know right away if it works, because the opening music has changed to a tropical drum sound with xylophone, instead of horns.
I want to make sure this form of updating works, because it is a lot easier to post updates this way than release whole new versions of the game.
If you can't get it to work, I'll post links soon to the full version, but it will require a password to download. (which I will also post).

Yeah, the consolation prize for being so bad at roulette was pretty cool.

Finding shell's improves the chances of Ariane deciding to skinny dip in the ocean, but mostly it is for an achievement (which hasn't been implemented yet). The Roulette game plays by the real rules of French Roulette, so most of the bets are 50-50 with a 1 in 37 chance of 0. You and Ariane are playing a flip of the coin game basically, and it's all completely random. The upshot is that the all important "charm" and "sexy" points are not won or lost by the roll of the wheel.

2019-08-28 09:33:31 +0000 UTCIs there - or will there be - more to the shell game, or is it just a fun Easter egg hunt? The "photogenic" beach was a good laugh, but the dumb luck I experienced with the path through the forest did NOT hold up when I played roulette. Sheesh.
