When a local gang wanted some quick cash, they kidnapped Rein to hold for ransom. They did not expect her to have a fighting spirit, though. When one tried to stop her by placing a knife to her throat, he aimed high, and in the fight, ended up cutting her face. With her beauty marred, her family saw no use for her anymore. Enraged, Rein left the family to find her own path and gain respect through her fighting abilities. At level 20, she is now the Captain of the Queen's Guard of Neverwinter.
